The 1999 Diamond Back Reactor Team BMX features a lightweight 6061 alloy Franko-design frame with CNC dropouts and integrated chain tension adjusters, paired with a full chromoly fork using a 1-1/8” threadless steerer and 1-1/4” blades. It comes fitted with 4-piece chromoly handlebars offering an 8” rise, held by a forged alloy Ahead-style stem. Braking is handled by an Avid alloy linear-pull brake with matching lever, while the drivetrain steps up to a Profile chromoly three-piece 180mm crank with precision sealed-bearing bottom bracket and a Profile Whippit 44-tooth chainwheel, matched to alloy clipless platform pedals. The wheelset consists of Mavic XY double-wall 36-hole rims, DB Slasher alloy hubs with flip-flop rear, and stainless spokes, wrapped in Ritchey Speed Max tyres (20x2.125” front, 20x1.95” rear). Comfort comes via a padded seat with chromoly rails and alloy seatpost.
