Founded in 1988 by Linn Kastan—the creative force behind Redline—in California, Kastan bikes were famous for their radical "uni-blade" single-sided forks. They manufactured innovative, high-end racing frames and components for roughly eight years, pushing engineering boundaries until the brand ceased production in the mid-1990s.
