Founded in 1940 by Albert Ross in Brooklyn, New York, Ross Bicycles became an American powerhouse before moving to Pennsylvania. They manufactured popular BMX models like the Snapper and Pirate for approximately twelve years (1976–1988), offering reliable, mass-produced chromoly and steel frames during the height of the BMX craze.
