Founded in 1993 by Steve Crandall in Ithaca, New York, FBM (Fat Bald Men) became a pillar of DIY BMX culture. Known for their "Made in the USA" frames and punk-rock ethos, they manufactured high-quality bikes and components for twenty-seven years before closing their machine shop in 2020.
