The same bike Dennis McCoy rode to his overwhelming conquest of the AFA Masters title in 1986. 100% 4130 chromoly frame and fork featuring specialised flatland geometry, quick, precise handling, 74.5 degree head angle, wrap around head tube gusset, machined BB and heat tube. new narrower twin top tube design for increased leg clearance, oversized rear chainstay platforms w/traction pegs, chainstay mounted Dia-Compe U-brake, pierced seat tube cable routing, brazed on cable guides, tapered seat stays and forks, wrap around folding fork legs, serrated drop outs, triphase finish, updated graphics, chrome stays and forks. Available with either Ukai 48 alloy rims or Skyway Tuff 2 mags.

The first two characters is year of production. 86 = 1986, 87 = 1987. Depending on the factory, production may have started around June 1986 through to May 1987.

After the year is month of production. 01 to 12 = January to December.

Made in Taiwan.
As a general rule, bikes made in Taiwan at this time had around a 5 month production lead timeline before they were delivered and sold in bike shops around the world. Generally around May of each year, factories would switch production to making models for the following year.
