
1998 GT Power Series 3.0. Aluminum rules BMX today. What started as a craze among junior riders, has turned into the material of choice among the majority of BMX riders, young and old. The lighter weight and stiff ride has proven ideal for sprinting around the BMX track. The GT Power Series line uses 100% aluminum frames matched with GT CrMo forks. Dia Tech, the BMX-only arm of Dia Compe, is the brake on the Power Series 3.0. Accommodating the needs of BMX riders, the Dia Tech brake is trick with long brake pad adjustment, all stainless steel hardware and cold-forged construction.

Bikes made in Taiwan usually had an 5-8 month production and shipping timeline before they were sold in bike shops around the world. Bikes welded in the later months of the year would normally be made for the following year.
