The 1998 Diamond Back Ignitor FW BMX features a hi-ten TIG-welded frame with canti studs, paired with a DB hi-ten fork using 1-1/8” blades. It comes fitted with DB handlebars offering a 7-1/2” rise in chrome, held by a DB alloy four-bolt stem. Braking is handled by a Tektro alloy cantilever rear brake with alloy caliper up front, while the drivetrain uses a DB forged 6-1/2” crank in chrome with a DB 44-tooth chainwheel, matched to DB resin platform pedals with 1/2” axles. The wheelset consists of DB alloy 20x1.75” rims, heavy-duty steel hubs, and 14-gauge spokes, wrapped in DB 20x1.75” tyres. Comfort comes via a DB padded seat with 7mm rails and a chrome steel seatpost (22.2mm). Finish options were full chrome, black with a chrome fork, or flat blue with a chrome fork.
