In the last few years, dirt jumping has finally gotten the respect it deserves. With the X-Games being broadcast on ESPN, jumpers now have a forum to showcase their skills. The world is finally getting a taste of what BMXers have known for years: jumping rules.
The 1998 GT Fueler salutes these kids by taking technology a step ahead. The oversized 4130 CrMo frameset is the heart of this thrashing machine. From the beefy downtube to the flame-cut 6 mm dropouts, the Fueler is designed for hardcore riding. Weinmann 48-hole double-wall rims, GT Mohawk hubs, Powerlite Retro Tread tires and Dia-Compe 990 brakes are just a few of the awesome components that adorn the Fueler.
From the side it's tough to get a good look at the craftsmanship on the Fueler, the sculpted seatstays and pierced top tube.
The rear end of the Fueler couldn't be much stiffer with the capped seat and chainstays and the 6 mm flame-cut dropouts.
