The Master is our top-of-the-line freestyle bike. New Sugino 3 piece tubular chromoly cranks, Oakley B-2 grips, Redline forklifter stems with Pott's bolts, MKS graphite pedals and the proven Skyway Tuff I wheels are all standard equipment. The brand new Haro 4130 chromoly handlebars have a lowered knurled crossbar, making over-the-bar tricks easy. Components such as the DiaCompe front and rear FS880 brakes, Tech 4 levers, a new Dominator seat and the Haro chromoly seat posts make the Master the only freestyle bike you'll ever need.

Haro BMX serial numbers.
The first two characters is year of production. 84 = 1984, 85 = 1985. Depending on the factory, production may have started around June 1984 through to May 1985.

After the year is month of production. 01 to 12 = January to December.

Made in Taiwan.
As a general rule, bikes made in Taiwan at this time had around a 5 month production lead timeline before they were delivered and sold in bike shops around the world. Generally around May of each year, factories would switch production to making models for the following year.
